Diaper Story II

After some weeks of trying out different brands and comparing prices. I am now settled on 2 brands - I wear them at different times of the day, depending on my shee shee quantity.

PetPet is similar to drypers except that I find it slightly bigger, which suits me since I am in between size for Dryper L and XL now. There are also indicators around the waist so it is easy to gauge on where the side tape should be for conistent tightness. Unlike Drypers, The stickiness of the side tape for PetPet are not too sticky so it is not difficult to remove. However, I cannot have conscutive changes of PetPet for too many times as there will be redness on my 2 sides. It has nothing to do with the tightness, it's probably the material. Anyhow, PetPet is still good to wear and help defray diaper cost =)

Just so you know,
Cost of 1 = 2

and the above calculation is based on where mum know sells the cheapest PetPet so far, which is at a medical hall at Pasir Ris West Plaza ;)
Well, thats about all about my diaper updates, Cheers!

Photo Me - 'Chik-Chak'

Finally, we had our family portrait taken in the studio on June 24. A total of 130 photographs taken and fully given to us, unedited in a CD. Well, there are actually more than 130 snaps but many were deleted by the photographer (PG) because they were not presentable.

Uncle Benjamin was our PG. He is a tall guy with greyish hair, wearing a pair of nerdy spectacles. Mum prayed hard before the photoshoot session that I will not be uncomfortable in the studio and I was not. What a great relief to her! Phew #1. I guess maybe the toys and space in the studio set me at ease. Uncle Ben ice-broke with me before the session began and seeing his sincerity, I responded to him with a faint smile. Phew #2.

My fav music CD was played and the photo shoot began - 'chik chak chik chak' boy, I'm like a movie star!...starlet =) I have a total of 5 changes and dad mum had 3 each - all in that one hour...well, 1 hr and 20mins to be exact. Uncle Ben is kind enough to extend time for my last change. We have props brought from home, some were from the studio and the part where I enjoyed most is where I have bits of FOOD given to me. Kinda like a bribery or bait for me to comply with the adults' wants. It's good to be cranky at the right time *grinz*

Fun time is always short and although 1 hour sounded like a short time for a family studio shoot, I think the timing works perfect for me. Yes, I had fun but anything longer than that I would have complained. Ok, enough is said, hope you enjoy viewing the pictures as much as we have enjoyed taking them! Say cheese! Chik-Chak!

O btw, if you are wondering what the 3 little bears are doing in the album, beats me too! Maybe Uncle Ben thinks they are our family members too...kekkee...

A Nice Weekend

Last Saturday, my family had a good time out. We went to town in the afternoon and proceeded to the Botanical Gardens and met up with Ian 'gor-gor' and his daddy mummy.

At the Swan Lake area, I saw many fishes swimming in the pond and I was delighted! There were turtles too and 2 beautiful white swans. They were huge! Mum brought me near the edge of the water so I can have an up close and personal experience with the swans but I was...well, i'm not scared (ahem) but mmm...SHY...yes! I was SHY! (haha)

We headed down to Tanglin Mall foodcourt for dinner and there was where I had my FIRST proper meal out - as in no home-cooked porridge but EVERYTHING was bought over the counter (impressive? or big fat harry deal?) . I had grilled fish with baked potato and I must have done a great job because mum could taste some pepper on the fish but I ate it all the same though I think there could be better food somewhere.

There are actually some nice pictures taken that day which I wanted to share but as usual, the card reader is not working properly again so will have to share it with you some other time!

We may be going Sentosa this weekend - hopefully...! =)

Photo Me - Foto U

Ok, mum finally made a booking with Foto-U for our photo shoot. It is having a promotional price at $120 for an hour session, with all softcopy returned in a CD. It's a STEAL!

But, the catch is it's only an hour session on a weekday and I'm not sure if I can warm up in time for good happy shots . Also not sure if I will like Benjamin, who is our appointed photographer, or the studio for that matter. Date and time have not been confirmed, it depends on my folks' schedule - mainly dad's.

Well, we'll see how it turns out. Will definitely update you when this comes to past. ;)

Diaper Story

Recently my wee wee seems to leak from the diaper quite frequently, mum wonders why. There is no change of the brand of diaper that I have been using but there is just leak even when the diaper is worn properly and not totally full.

So mum bought me a pack of Nepia 'L' size two weeks back, to try if this can solve the problem. I tried Nepia "M' before and Mum loves it. She says it is soft and cloth-like so it is gentle and comfortable for my delicate skin. Its coming to the end of the pack but this time round, mum does not find it as impressive as before. Still leaks.
Mum says she is going to try for me. She got feedback from friends and Yi-ma that this is really good and absorbent. Costing more though but lets see if it fits me good. I'm more interested with the pants - heard there is difference between what is for a boy and a girl. There's even pooh bear prints on it, hee so cute!!
And since we are on the diaper, this is just to share what else mum got feedback on about other brands of diaper.

Extremely Expensive but comfortable and cloth-like. But still leaks for my friend, Gayle.

My neighbour said it's very thin and not that absorbent but Aunty Caryn has a different take on that.

Aunty Cles said this is good for her princess but mummy's hairdresser finds the cut at the thigh more suitable for a girl than a boy so for her boy, there were frequent leaks. She is now using Mamypoko for her son currently.

Any sharing or suggestions from anyone regarding this? Feel free to comment.

Photo Me - Who will?

I am thirteen months now. Mum is trying to arrange a studio photo shoot for me and my family but have not been able to decide on the photographer or studio. Hopefully it will be finalized soon.

Do you have any suggestion?

Who's Who Again?

An Eye for an eye,
A nose for a nose,
A mouth for a mouth.
What daddy has, he duplicated all for me
What I am having, I got it all from him.
Do you agree?
In a scale of 1-10 what would you grade our resemblance? (1 being least alike, 10 being most alike)

Bakerzin

Ahh....What a treat it is to have a nice afternoon tea with a lovely young lady. I enjoyed myself, so did our mummies - in fact, i think they act more like kids than us - hehe!

The strawberry cake there is really yummy! I just can't stop asking for more 'mumm mumm'.
