Growing milestone @ 18 months

@ 18 months, I can....

~ turn on the DVD player and play a DVD/CD

~ choose and decide what DVD to watch. My current favorite DVD is Pocoyo and Friends, don't you try playing any other programs

~ throw my soiled diaper into the bin after change

~ bring a ringing phone to mummy

~ imitate mummy blowing her nose with a tissue paper

~ turn on the camera

~ go to the playpen by myself when it is nap time & wait to be put on bed. If I wait too long, I will unzip the side of the playpen and wriggle my way in to rest

~ pick up my bath toys & proceed to the bathroom when it is shower time

~ go to the bathroom by myself before bed to have my face and hands cleaned

~ identify similarities, differentiating colors and sizes

~ stack

~ play hide & seek

~ follow instruction to grab my water bottle and drink water from it

~ indicate my preference of yes & no by nodding or shaking my head

~ communicate my basic needs by signing

Have I progressed? Well, compared to the last time, at least I am more patient now.

Last Weekend

On Saturday, I went to Novena Square. Got 3 ballooons there and was thrilled by them. Then we went to get my tricycle.

After my pm nap, we went to Marina Square and had dinner at Kenny Rogers. How can I miss the famous corn muffin there!

Passed by Lego shop and there's a bike there too!

Now which one do I look smarter on?



Before going home, the slide at Kiddy Palace caught my attention. Now how can I go off without having at least one slide.



On Sunday I went to town. Took a walk around some malls there. Ended my day at East Coast Park Big Splash, joy riding on my new tricycle. Had dinner at Sushi Tei - Chicken Katsu-don with Akadashi Tofu. But I was not very hungry so did not eat much. O, bumped into Kao-gong and family at Carl's Jr!

New Toys

Hey! I've got some new toys at home! I'm enjoying them each day.

Mom rented the ball pool for a month. I love diving into it and always making a 'whoo...' sound when rolling balls down the side ramps. It will be nice to have my other little friends join me in the pool (at least that's what mummy thinks - hiak!)

My playyard has to be put away in the storeroom for this month until I'm done with this round float thing due to space constrain in the house.



Now now, isn't this cool? My first owned 'Harley'. It's got buttons and lights, music and rooster crowing - uh-huh, rooster crowing not that cool eh...but STILL, this is my own bike ;) Dad got this for me from a shop along Balestier Road.

September Outings

O gosh! It's almost a month since I last gave any updates. O well, mom is a little unwell so that caused a little delay there cos I need to look after her *grinz*

Alright, here's the snapshot style of where I have been in the remaining month of September.






Went on the Singapore Flyers with all my cousins. Trying to 'choup' best seat for next year's F1.








Wedding lunch at the Crown Plaza Hotel at Terminal 3. A toast to the newly wed!
