At 2 years old

I can.....
- fix a 4-piece jigsaw puzzle from a set of 6 puzzles all by myself
- scoop food and feed myself - with mess of course, hee!
- drink from a cup
- alert someone to bring mw to the potty to pee.... not so good with poo alert though
- manoeuvre the iphone and get to the application I want - so cool!

I can't talk still but definitely has refined my pronunciation of certain words and able to repeat and pick up words quicker now. Words are coming, be patient =)

Bao

I surprised mum today by eating a whole lotus seed paste bao all by myself.

Mum heated some mini baos for tea this afternoon and brought them out on a plate to the dining table. Without hesitation, I climbed onto the dining chair and reach out to one of them and without anyone telling me, I peeled off the paper beneath the bao and start munching on it.

Mum was observing me the whole time and hee, I think she was impressed ;) Mummy, I'm growing up ya!

February Update

Hi there! How's everyone? Haven't been updating you on what's going on in my life for over 2 months now. Mum's been tired with my upcoming little brother but she aims to give updates of my growth and development for the past two months.

Hmm...where shall we start? ok, lets do by the month then....

A New Bed!

Remember I told you before parents were bed hunting for me? I've got a new bed! No more baby in the playpen. I'm now sleeping on a 6-inched super single mattress. Boy, do I look tiny on it. Gong Gong helped get me this new bed from his mattress wholesaler. It's Princebed brand at a special price of $128. Mum finds the mattress very firm but I'm ok, still get sounds sleep from it.

A Swing

Popo got me a swing! It's actually a hand-me-down from gor gor Jon & Josh....Nice!

As of today, I already know how to get up the swing by myself and slowly getting over the novelty...hee.... Popo, any other new toy?
