Bed Hunt

Today, we went to a few furniture places. It seems that dad and mum want to get me a new bed. I am very comfortable with my current playpen although I often hear dad comments it is too small for me but I am happy squeezing myself to the corner.

I am guessing they may want me to give up my playpen for the baby in mummy's stomach.

In any case, I am happy testing and shopping for a bed. See how relaxed and happy I look on a display bed at Ikea.

Sleeping Habit Changing

I have been waking up later in the morning. I used to rise at 7am in the monring, have two naps in the day and end the day at 9pm.

For the past few days, I have been waking up at almost 8am (which is good news for mama), have my morning nap over lunch and waking up at 2pm+. That will be the only nap for me for the day. I will then be up until bedtime at 9pm. On some days, if my morning naps are shorter, waking up at 1pm+, I may have another late pm nap at 5+, waking up at 6ish. On those days, I will be allowed to stay up a little longer, hitting bed only at 9.30pm or 10pm.

Mum suspects I will drop my morning nap soon and taking only a pm nap. She hopes it will be settled beginning from 2 to 2:30pm and waking up at 4:30pm to 5pm. We'll see.

I can call Mama now. Mum has been waiting for this day for long. I can call Gong-gong too. These are the two persons whom I can pronounce accurately. As for the rest, I recognize and can call but they are not that accurate.

Potty Training : Day 4

It never came. I have a change of 'nanny' and mum a helper at home so she is a bit tied up and tired with the transition to be bothered with my potty training. YEAH!...at least a break for me hiak! ;p

Potty Training : Day 3

There is slight improvement on Day 3 - two successful collections of pee onto the potty; once after I woke up from morning nap and the other time in the late afternoon. Other times, I am either too busy with my toys or no patience to stand by the potty.

Potty Training : Day 1 & 2

Potty training begins!!

Day 1 - Did not manage to catch on any drop of urine until the later part of the afternoon. Pee halfway, I thought it was something interesting, I put my hand into the potty. The adults shouted and my pee stopped! Continued on the floor awhile later, hee *wish wash wipe* Evening came - the last hour before I hit bed, mum usually observed I do not pee much so she decided to put just a pair of shorts on me without diaper so I will not be so warm. She was so wrong of me that evening (hiak). I pee-d 3 times with minutes of intervals - in my room, playyard and the living room... *wish wash wipe*

Day 2 - Again, urine was caught on in the later part of the afternoon and the sound of pee hitting the potty intrigued me so again, I attempted to put in my hand but it was prevented in time.

So far, I think peeing in the potty seems fun. Not sure if I will continue to like it or get bored with it soon. We'll see soon! ;p
